Currently, when you run an audit report for report fields, and choose a maintenance field in that audit report, it returns asset names, not specific AST_IDs or specific instances of the maintenance type. This can be problematic when a single asset has multiple maintenance items attached - it results in manual checking of each maintenance item to see when / who updated the report fields.
