Iowa's system currently has a customization on the Federal Submission for NBI data. it allows Iowa to select date in which we can cutoff new reports. This is a customization that Iowa would like to keep when we get to COTS. Iowa believes that this would be a benefit to other states. This customization allows for us to run new reports through the end of the year, with the submission date being March 15th.

It makes it easier to make sure that we do not get assets included that should have been excluded. This is something that is very helpful when doing the federal submission.
