This would allow us to keep the data in the fields and extract it when needed, but toggle the switch to include only the required abbreviated bridge record data items when pulling data for submission on border bridges as the neighboring state, saving us time from manually removing the extra data from the JSON before submission.
This type of custom data extraction would be challenging. If you organize your border bridges in a structure that makes the assets easy to select; you could configure another data extract template to not include the fields that you do not need to report to the FHWA. This would be a smaller subset, that would not take long to execute, and could be added to the main SNBI template relatively easily.
