When reviewing channel bed measurements for scour condition rating and scour vulnerability rating, using the depth of scour compared to the original ground line (or an estimate of the original ground line) is helpful. Adding this as a field to enter per bent / pier (fixed objects in channel) would allow for a quick calculation of the extent of scour at that location.
